FIA team RAID AT FAKE CONSULTANCY OFFICE IN BAHADURABAD AREA
Karachi: A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday raided fake consultancy in Bahadurabad area, running under the name of Johar Consultancy, located in Bahadurabad.
Anti Human Trafficking cell of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), headed by sub inspector Hubdaar Ali raided at Johar consultancy office and arrested Farooq Bangash and Mehmood Ali
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team also took fake documents in custody.
Johar Consultants in Karachi are big fraudsters. They offer fake jobs, prepare fake documents and submit bogus cases. They are not listed on CSIC website and several complaints against the Johar Consultancy received to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Karachi. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) sub Inspector Hubdaar Ali told the reporter.
Sub Inspector Hubdaar Ali told in detail that on the directives of Additional Director Azad Khan, he conducted a raid on Johar Consultancy, located in Marium Complex at Bahadurshah Zafar Road karachi two culprits has been arrested and number of fake documents, stamps and fake bank statemend has been recovered from its office.
FIA inspector told that owner Johar Ali lives in Canada, they are used to published advertise in different newspapers for Canadian immigration with IELTS and they charge for preparation for fake documents and process fee Rs.400,000/- to Rs.600,000/-.
FIA Subs Inspector Hubdaar Ali said that Johar Ali and his consultancy never provide copies of application forms, supporting documents to applicant. They have been shifting offices many times since April 2009. Johar Ali, owner of the Johar Consultancy is available on SKYPE but responding as per his desires. Johar Consultancy is fabricating supporting documents and other instruments like bank statement, Employer experience certificate by demanding clients to provide new moveable landline number to be used in employer letter head for fake verification.
The Canadian government has recently issued a blacklist of fake immigration consultants in Pakistan. This list includes the details of hundreds of bogus Pakistani immigration agents and consultants operating mainly in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi using different names.
Hub Inspector said that the FIR has been lodge and investigation is undergo.
On the other hands In Pakistan as many as 45 percent of the supposed immigration agents who promote their Canadian Immigration services in Pakistan are involved in fake activities which ultimately result into loss of clients money and time and leave their customers without authorized Canadian immigration visas.
